What an exciting time! Things are so busy this time of year at our church, Oaklawn Baptist! We are excited about our Easter drama “Once Upon the Truth” that will take place this weekend. Tonight at 6:30 p.m. Tomorrow at 1 & 6:30 p.m. Our prayer is that lives will be changed for the glory of God! This will be the second time in my life that I have had the privilege to play the part if Jesus. It humbles me to play such an important role and it really makes me reflect on what my Savior did for me. There is no way that we could accurately depict what He went through, but hopefully we can paint a picture of the Savior’s love for those in attendance.
On another note… I am so excited to annouce that my latest release “Forgiven” will debut at #53 on the Singing News national gospel charts in the month of June! I never thought in a million years that something like this would happen! If you would like to hear my latest single you can go to www.myspace.com/jayboyce Thank you so much for your support and prayers! I would like to personally thank our local southern gospel station Joy FM for their continued support of my ministry.
The summer months are right around the corner and they are the busiest for me when it comes to singing on the road. I found out this week that I will have the privilege of leading worship for a Bible conference in California at the end of May. I will also be in Tennessee at Fort Bluff Camp for another week of Awana Leadership Camp in the month of June. In July, I will be on the campus of Murray State University for a week teaching voice, and songwriting at the Charles Novell School of Music. So… please be in prayer for me and my family as we will be traveling some in the coming days.
Praise the Lord for what He is doing! I want to personally tell my wife, Samantha, that I love her very much! God has blessed me with a wonderful wife and two beautiful boys, Grady and Judah! We look forward to hearing from you all! If you get a chance… call and request “Forgiven” at your area southern gospel station! Till next time…
